ABOUT ME
Prem Jyoti Singh Rana completed PhD degree from one of the most prestigious Institutions of India, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Roorkee), in the field of Dye-Sensitized solar cell/Carbon Nanoparticles under the supervision of Dr Prasenjit Kar. After that, He joined Prof. S. P Singh at the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research–Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (CSIR-IICT), India as a research associate to work on partial lead-free perovskite nanocrystal. Later, He received a BK-21 Post-doctoral fellowship in Korea with Prof. Hee Je Kim at Pusan National University, South Korea, where he started to explore device fabrication of perovskite solar cells. He worked as a post-doctoral researcher at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore with Prof. Nripan Mathews, and Prof. Subodh Mhaisalkar. Currently, He is working with Prof. Jinsong Huang at the University of North Carolina. Here, he is working on the Scaling up of the Perovskite solar module via solution processing (using Slot-die). He had published over 34 peer-reviewed papers and 2 patents in various solar cell fields, including perovskite solar cell research.
